I have always been a corporate slave. With this, I have been a slave of stress and anxiety, as well. I blame stress for all the sicknesses and diseases that happened to me before, from my miscarriage to my Placenta Accreta. I know that all of us, at some point in our lives, think of getting out of this rat race. I have started thinking about it ever since last year, after my sickness. But of course, due to the expenses that we had to pay, I had to continue working to help my husband, EJ, with the expenses.
This year, we have caught up with all the expenses and we are pretty stable. This made me rethink my plans for the future. By June, the doctor has allowed me to try for another baby and I can’t miss this opportunity, since I’m allowed to have only one child. I plan to strengthen myself and to prepare myself physically, mentally, spiritually and emotionally for this. Yoga has helped me a lot and I plan to practice more frequently.
This led me to think of pursuing yoga teacher training. There are many reasons why I want to pursue this:
1. This will be good for my plans of strengthening myself and preparing for a baby
2. I want to deepen my practice. I don’t necessarily have to be a teacher after, but I just want to know more about the different styles of yoga. It has become a passion and it is something I love doing.
3. I want to eventually (maybe not right away, but in the future) help others practice yoga and see how it can change their lives.
I have seen some links for teacher training and maybe, in the future, I can get to join these classes, yoga conventions or seminars:
There is also this Asia Yoga Conference on June 9-12. It will be in Hong Kong. If you are free, this is a good conference to attend. Check out this link: Asia Yoga Conference
Do you know of other Yoga Teacher Trainings? Do let me know please so that I can add to this list.
