First of all, I never knew Quarter Life crises to be undergone by aged 21-36 years old individuals. I get the 21-28 part but until 36, really? Second, if there was something like this when I was 23, I would have probably attended. This is a good thing.
I looked through the program and the topics were really interesting and I know it would be beneficial for a lot of young men and ladies. The topics for the program aims to discuss the Top concerns of people undergoing or preparing for quarter life crises. For each of the topic below, I actually asked myself if I still need this seminar, now that I’m 30 (you can try and absorb each of the topics with me, as well):
May 14: What Career is Right for Me?: Narrowing down my options and deciding on a career path
*You know what, I think this is still true for me. I still ask this question all the time, even if i’m 30 already. I still don’t know what I really want. Is it an offshoot of the fact that I know that my husband is the bread winner, so I don’t really know right now on which path to take and I don’t really care?
May 28: Making a Successful Career Plan: How to be happy and financially successful in my career
*I am actually happy with my career now, but I’m not sure if I’m really financially successful. I know that I can do more and shine more in the career that I have, but of course, i’m still looking for satisfaction in terms of financial rewards.
June 11: Asserting My independence: Defining my individuality and creation my personal space
*Hmm, I don’t really know what questions to myself do I ask for this topic or what trend of thought should I go with, since I’m quite happy with the freedom and the expected boundaries that comes with marriage. My husband allows me to shine as an individual, and I do support him, too. We know that we both will succeed if we support each other.
June 25: Working on my Relationships (Family and Love Life): Working smart to have and keep a love life. Dealing with my parents, siblings and friends now that I am an adult
*This I could probably use still. Especially when one is married, there are some things that have to be learned in dealing with family and probably even friends in certain situations.
