Before anything else, I would like to welcome, my friend Rona Rodriguez-Baes to the Manila Fitness Team. She will be helping me out in promoting Women’s Health, Fitness and Wellness here in Manila and globally. 🙂 I met Rona when we were still in college. She is pregnant too and is already 25 weeks pregnant! She is also very much into fitness as I am. If you remember, I had the Cohen Testimonial for your from her last July 2012. By next week, you will be seeing a lot of great articles from Rona, too, as she shares her weight loss and pregnancy experiences with all of us. I’m glad to have you with me here, Rona!
BABY PA at 21 Weeks
I can’t believe that I am past midway of my pregnancy. I recently had a meeting with a couple of girls for Manila Workshops, and if I didn’t mention that I was 21 weeks pregnant, they wouldn’t have known. Haha! I love wearing loose dresses. They don’t give off the fact that you’re pregnant that easily. Love it!
November seems to be a really busy month for me. I am working on two workshops for December and January. I, actually, love that I am busy. I sometimes miss the feeling of not being busy with anything. I can’t I believe that I survived 1 month (exactly a month tomorrow) without going to work and just keeping still at home. Of course in one month, I managed to execute 1 workshop and plan for two more. I also managed to meet up with new people to discuss other business ideas (so much for keeping “still”… haha).
I have been feeling alive, awake and enthusiastic! Although I really mean literally awake at 4-5 am in the morning. It surprising that I don’t actually feel anything during that time, but I just get to wake up. I guess my baby’s awake during these times, too.
Kick, Baby, Kick!
Speaking of Baby PA, we have already felt him or her kicking! Ej felt it, too, already. At 10:30 – 11 pm at night, he automatically lays his head, with his ears touching my belly, to feel the baby kick. Sometimes these are just faint kicks, but most of the time, he/she kicks really hard and quite continuously. Yey!
I am also in the process of looking for a changing table. My friend suggested that I have it made. I have also contacted people who can make cribs and changing table. I haven’t decided yet if I will buy or just have it made. I have been checking the internet for pictures of changing tables. Here are some of my favorites:
Well, we’ll see how it goes. I’m definitely going to share with you updates on this. Going back to fitness and health, do you know that measuring your nursery and doing all the planning for it can help you burn calories. I tried measuring the space for the crib, changing table, etc. and I really sweat a lot. Try doing that at home, all preggy ladies! You can skip your exercise for the day.
For my week 21 report (Oooh, soo corporate!), here it is:
How far along? 21 Weeks and 1 day
Total weight gain/loss: 17 lbs+ (from 132 to 149) I haven’t weighed again 🙂

Have you started to show yet: Yes, I really have that bump already, but some people still don’t notice.

Labor Signs: None
Belly Button in or out? In… slowly moving out
