I’m so lazy these days. I think it’s because the fitness challenge that I took part in ended and since then, it has been my own ‘fatness challenge’ that took over. Although people still compliment me for having lost weight, I need a pick-me-upper to get back into fitness again.
Thus, my colleagues from the Steps Project and I are brewing something special for you guys, who are in the same situation. I love being an events coordinator since you can just create events that revolve around what you want for yourself. As for what we’re brewing up, it will remain a secret first!
So okay, yesterday, we had a meeting at this fitness center that I didn’t get a chance to visit before. I have been hearing about it, but I felt (that time) that I wasn’t ready for something as hard core as this. The gym is called Ultimate Fitness. It has 9 centers in the Philippines. The one I went to was the one at Metrowalk.
This fitness center offers different kinds of fitness activities that you can try. They have MMA, Muay Thai, Boxing, Capoeira, Jui-Jitsu, Fight Form (which is like circuit training of different fight forms), etc.
I asked one of the owners if there are ladies who come to work out, and he said there are a lot. When we were there, there were ladies coming in and going out of the center. Hell yeah! Ladies are good at fighting, too!
So if you want to try it out, just go to their branch and inquire about the schedule. Just wanted to let you know about this hard core gym. Aaaaaaargh! I’m all pumped up now!
