Gone are those days when people would dread using diet pills. I remember the time when the main ingredient of most of the diet pills was ephedrine. A lot of consumers have now become more diet-savvy. Using healthy snacks is a good way to ensure that calories consumed in snack foods are not “empty” calories. Snack foods made from whole grains or sweetened with fruit juice rather than white sugar are more wholesome for the person eating them. Fruits and vegetables make simple, wholesome healthy snacks and are a nutrient rich way of fixing hunger pangs and giving the snacker a boost of energy between meals.
