It’s a Tuesday and I would like to thank eveyone who went to the Optimommy and Manila Workshops “Yes Mommy” Workshop. I will be creating another article on that to share my learnings from the workshop. Anyway, I’m sure all of you are busy Christmas shopping. We went to Rockwell last Saturday and Sunday, and we have never seen the parking area of The Power Plant Mall that FULL ever before.
It’s been 3 weeks (well, almost 4 weeks) since my last update on Baby PA. Now that we know Baby PA is a girl, we have definitely looked for things to shop for. I will start purchasing stuff for Baby PA come January probably. What I have been busy looking for were maternity dresses that I could use on Christmas. Hey, it isn’t a joke having weird proportions nowadays 😛 haha!
And, just my luck, I found this really great brand in Rustan’s. It’s called Belle Mama. We were shopping for gifts for family when lo and behold, I see this really cute long dress…AND it looked like it could fit me. I touched the fabric and it looked very comfortable to wear! At this stage, when entering the third trimester of my pregnancy, I wanted clothes that were comfortable to use. Since I’m getting bigger and I feel hot all the time, I wanted to find really nice, fashionable dresses but comfort was still the main driver of my decision.
For the dresses, check out the clothes that I bought! Aren’t these the most adorable patterns that you have seen?
These dresses are also priced reasonably. Each dress was less than Php 2,000. You can check out Belle Mama at Rustan’s Makati. I forgot the floor though.
Another happy moment this week was when I received the Cuddlebug Crib. This was the gift of my mom and dad. (Thanks Mom and Dad!) 🙂
Right now, this is the only furniture that I have in the baby’s room (aside from the built-in cabinet that came with out condo unit). What I like about the Cuddlebug Riverside Crib is that it can be converted in the future to be made a day bed or a bed. It’s made from New Zealand pine and features a non-toxic natural finish. It has three adjustable mattress heights. We still have to buy the mattress but the crib is already in place.
We still have a lot to fix, but we still have enough time.
For my Week 26 updates on Baby PA, here it is:
How far along? 26 Weeks and 5 days
Total weight gain/loss: 25 lbs (from 132 to 157) My unofficial weight since my doctor’s appointment will be on Friday. I hope I don’t gain extra pounds from now ’til Friday. Uh oh! I’m dreading Christmas parties 🙁
Maternity clothes bought? yup, cute dresses from Belle Mama
Stretch marks? None… I feel the itch maybe around thrice a week.
Sleep: I get to sleep but I’m starting to feel uncomfortable. It takes time to get into that right position before sleeping.
Miss Anything? Yeah, STILL not sweating all the time!
Movement: Yes, this is one active Baby Girl!
Food cravings: None, but I have noticed that I’m always hungry
Anything making you queasy or sick: None.
Have you started to show yet: Yes, I’m really pregnant!
Gender prediction: It’s a GIRL! 🙂 Now I have to think of a name 🙂
Labor Signs: None
Belly Button in or out? In… slowly moving out
Happy or Moody most of the time: Moody… I guess because I feel “hot” often.
Anything your hate?: Leg cramps while sleeping. I got to have my first one last Monday (early morning).
Looking forward to: Shopping for my baby!
