I have recently written about the fitness wearable that I am using. I also know of a friend who’s wearing a different wearable. I noticed it because it was almost looked like the wearable that I was using. I asked Marv of Freelance Blend on what he thought of his Fitbit.
Marv says that Fitbit Flex is a fitness tracker that he uses to count his steps every single day. It has a thin screen with small LED lights to show how many steps he made just by tapping the screen. Each LED light represents 20% of his goal, hence 5 LED lights (the max) mean that he reached 100% of his goal and the Flex vibrates about 5 times, congratulating him for reaching his daily goal.
Marv continues that he could then sync the Flex with the Fitbit app in his iPhone so he can view in real-time how many actual steps he made during the day and share about it with his other Fitbit friends. He can also view his steps from previous days or weeks. Aside from steps, Fitbit also tracks the calories that he burned, number of active minutes, distance travelled and hours of sleep.
I asked him what he liked about it and he said that it’s like a smart baller band. It’s also very sturdy and he can change the color of the band depending on his mood for that day. I found that so cool! I love the colors that Fitbit has. My friend has bands in the colors black, blue, orange, and green.
I also asked him what he didnt like about FitBit. He said, “To be honest, I can’t think of anything to hate about my Fitbit. I am so happy with my purchase. No buyer’s remorse.”
